The TEL Token Upgrade: What Buyers Should Know<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On 24 September 2026, Telcoin began a mandatory upgrade of the TEL token ahead of its Telcoin Network launch. The new token, called version 3, has a new contract address that is the same on Ethereum, Base, and Polygon, and it uses 18 decimal places instead of 2. Holders swap old TEL for new TEL at 1:1, and the swap window runs until 24 September 2027, according to Telcoin’s release notes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Telcoin Wallet users can upgrade in a few taps. Anyone holding old TEL in another wallet or on an exchange should go through Telcoin’s official upgrade portal, announced from Telcoin’s verified account on 22 September 2026.
