Stargate Finance (STG) is being merged into LayerZero (ZRO), and Mudrex will support this transition for eligible users.
If you hold STG on Mudrex, you do not need to take any action. Eligible STG holdings will be automatically converted to ZRO based on the announced conversion ratio.
Here’s everything you need to know about the merger, including the timeline, conversion ratio, and what happens to your portfolio during the transition.
What Is Changing?
As part of the merger, Stargate Finance (STG) will transition to LayerZero (ZRO).
Mudrex will automatically convert eligible STG holdings into ZRO at the following ratio:
1 STG = 0.08634 ZRO
You do not need to manually convert, transfer, or sell your STG. Mudrex will handle the conversion for eligible holdings.
Key Dates to Know
| Event | Date |
| STG trading suspended on Mudrex | 5 October 2026 |
| STG to ZRO conversion | During the merger period |
| ZRO credited to eligible users | On or before 11 October 2026 |
The exact timing of the conversion may vary during the merger period.
What Happens If You Hold STG?
If you hold eligible STG on Mudrex, your balance will be automatically converted to ZRO using the 1 STG = 0.08634 ZRO conversion ratio.
During the merger period, your STG balance may temporarily not appear in your portfolio while the conversion is being processed. This does not mean that your eligible STG holdings have been lost. Rest assured, your funds are safe.
Your corresponding ZRO balance will be credited to your Mudrex account on or before 11 October 2026.
Example
If you hold 1,000 STG, the conversion will be calculated as:
1,000 STG × 0.08634 = 86.34 ZRO
The actual ZRO credited to your account will depend on your eligible STG balance at the time of the conversion.
What Happens to ZRO Trading?
Existing ZRO Spot trading pairs will continue to operate normally and will not be affected by the STG to ZRO merger.
This means users can continue to hold and trade ZRO on Mudrex during the merge period.
The merger only affects the conversion of eligible STG holdings. It does not suspend existing ZRO Spot trading.
What Happens to STG Trading?
STG trading on Mudrex will be suspended on 5 October 2026 as part of the merger.
After the suspension, users will no longer be able to trade STG on Mudrex.
Eligible STG holdings will continue through the automatic conversion process and will be credited as ZRO.
What Happens to My Portfolio During the Merger?
There may be a temporary period during which your STG balance does not appear in your Mudrex portfolio.
This can happen while the merger and conversion are being processed.
Once the conversion is completed, your eligible balance will be credited as ZRO on or before 11 October 2026.
