The MDEX whitepaper presents the economic model of the MDX token, which is the core trading medium of MDEX, an automatic market-making decentralised exchange (DEX). MDEX operates on a mix-chain model, utilising both the Heco Chain and Ethereum to combine low transaction fees with the rich Ethereum ecosystem. The platform aims to integrate DEX, Initial Mining Offerings (IMO)/Initial Coin Offerings (ICO), and Decentralised Autonomous Organization (DAO) functionalities, providing users with a reliable and profitable decentralised token exchange service.

The MDX token has a total supply of approximately 1 billion, with a block time of every 3 seconds on the HECO chain and block rewards of 80 MDX per block. The token supply is set to halve every six months.
