Introduced in January 2021, The Mandela Exchange or MDEX is an innovative decentralized trading protocol. It utilizes an automated market-making (AMM) system and employs fund pools like traditional Decentralized Exchanges. However, what sets MDEX apart is its dual-chain approach, where it integrates the Ethereum network and the Huobi Ecological Chain (HECO). This design allows MDEX to tap into the liquidity of the Ethereum ecosystem. By operating on the HECO platform, MDEX offers fast transaction speeds, completing token swaps in just three seconds, with an estimated cost of $0.001 per trade.
